AMANDA ARMSTRONG
Amanda is a dedicated music teacher based in Bend, Oregon. After spending the past four years sharing her passion and expertise with students in the vibrant West Seattle community, she has returned home to Bend, ready to continue spreading the joy of music.
Amanda’s musical journey began at the age of nine, when the guitar quickly became her constant companion. Over the years, she expanded her repertoire, mastering guitar, bass, violin/fiddle, ukulele, and classical piano. Her love of music evolved as she embraced a variety of genres, including folk, rock, pop, indie, country, alternative, and Spanish and classical guitar. She also enjoys writing and recording her own music, allowing her creativity to flourish across multiple styles.
What sets Amanda apart is her genuine enthusiasm for teaching. She’s been helping students find their musical voice for more than ten years, both locally and internationally. Her teaching experience spans from her hometown of Bend to the bustling streets of Seattle, as well as international adventures teaching in Thailand, Australia, and England. No matter the location, Amanda has always tailored her lessons to fit each student’s unique interests—whether they’re into indie pop or classical melodies.
Amanda’s mission is simple: to help her students discover a love for music that’s as vibrant and lifelong as her own.
